Announcing The GeForce RTX 5060 Desktop Family: DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, Neural Rendering & Blackwell Innovations For Every Gamer, Starting At $299; Plus RTX 5060 Laptops Available In May | GeForce News
Alongside the hardware, our engineers craft new software features, SDKs to aid developer integration, and new AI models that leverage the hardware’s capabilities to further enhance our users’ experiences. The DLSS 4 transformer AI model for DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Ray Reconstruction is one of our latest innovations.
Trained on super hi-res game captures, the transformer DLSS 4 model is able to accelerate performance whilst boosting image quality beyond that of native resolution rendering, as you can see in the Avowed DLSS Super Resolution, and Hogwarts Legacy DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Ray Reconstruction comparisons below. Text is clearer, clarity is increased, reflections are more accurate and stable (especially in motion), and each game is more temporally stable, with less shimmering and artifacting.
And because games run faster with DLSS enabled, PC input latency is reduced, making gameplay more responsive, further enhancing a player’s experience.
