Nickelodeon Characters Join the Race

Sega has now announced a collaboration with Nickelodeon, bringing the beloved SpongeBob SquarePants into the racing universe. Fans can expect to see SpongeBob and Patrick Star racing the Patty Wagon — a vehicle designed to look like a Krabby Patty — on the Bikini Bottom track, which is the vibrant underwater setting of the series. This crossover promises to add a fun and whimsical element to the game’s diverse roster.

Teasing More Iconic Characters

In addition to SpongeBob, Sega has teased upcoming appearances from other popular franchises, including Avatar: The Last Airbender and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Players who purchase the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Digital Deluxe Edition will receive the Season Pass, unlocking a wide array of additional content. The pass also grants access to characters from Netflix’s Sonic Prime series and hints at two more surprise collaborations still to be revealed.
