Sony has revealed the lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for July 2025, a special month that also commemorates the 15th anniversary of the service. Since its launch on June 29, 2010, PlayStation Plus has become a cornerstone of the PlayStation experience, offering gamers a rich library of games, exclusive discounts, and online multiplayer access.

Celebratory Milestones and Community Appreciation

In a heartfelt message on the PlayStation Blog, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Vice President of Global Services, Nick Maguire, expressed gratitude to fans for their unwavering support over the years. He stated, “From all of us at Sony Interactive Entertainment, we want to send a huge thank you to all our fans for your support throughout these years.”

To celebrate this remarkable milestone, Sony has planned a series of special activities throughout the summer. But before diving into the festivities, let’s explore the exciting games available this July.

July 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Lineup

For the month of July, PlayStation Plus members can enjoy some blockbuster titles, available from July 1 through August 4. The lineup features:

• Diablo IV — Available on PS5 and PS4
• The King of Fighters XV — Available on PS5 and PS4
• Jusant — Exclusive to PS5

Notably, the launch of King of Fighters XV for PlayStation Plus includes the “Classic Leona” DLC costume, which allows players to dress Leona in her iconic KoF ‘96 look, adding a nostalgic touch to the fighting game experience.

Special Events and Exclusive Trials

As part of the anniversary celebrations, PlayStation Plus Premium members can kick off the festivities today, June 25, with a free trial of WWE 2K25. Additionally, a trial for Monster Hunter Wilds will be available starting June 30, giving players a taste of upcoming adventures.

A Reflection on 15 Years of Service and Future Horizons

Nick Maguire continued, “Over the past 15 years, our focus has been on delivering top-tier gaming experiences through PlayStation Plus, along with exclusive discounts, online multiplayer, Cloud Game Streaming, and more.”

He highlighted that since the introduction of the Monthly Games benefit—formerly known as the Instant Game Collection—more than 500 titles have been offered to subscribers, enriching their gaming journeys.

The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, launched three years ago for Extra and Premium/Deluxe members, continues to thrive. Recent popular titles based on hours played include Ghost of Tsushima, God of War Ragnarök, Grand Theft Auto V, Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and The Last of Us Part I.

“We’re incredibly grateful for your support over the years and look forward to bringing even more fantastic gaming experiences in the future,” Maguire added.
